The successful completion of a criminal investigation will usually require the appropriate application of crime scene documentation techniques.

Workshop Summary

This workshop is designed to develop the scene documentation skills of the incident scene investigator. It will provide the investigator with a solid understanding of the role played by the proper application of photography in criminal investigations.

This is a workshop that is best suited for the investigator who has some familiarity with photography equipment, but would like to further enhance their skills. Students will work through a number of practical exercises and will receive immediate feedback from instructors.

Required Equipment

Attendees will need to bring a camera (film or digital), tripod and off-camera flash.
