The South Metro Public Safety Training Facility is the Twin Cities' premiere firefighting and law enforcement training facility. South Metro is a joint project of the Cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie and Edina and the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport Police Department.

The facility provides a variety of police and fire training opportunities in a two-building campus that opened in 2003. The construction of this facility reflects leadership and a commitment to training by the members.

IFS Forensic Training Programs at South Metro

Imprimus Forensic Services is proud to be offering forensic training programs at the South Metro Public Safety Training Facility. South Metro is ideally located in the Twin City metropolitan area and is easily accessible. There are a variety of lodging, dining and recreational opportunities.

All of our crime scene training programs and workshops offered at the South Metro facility, have been approved for continuing education credits by the Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).

We will be offering various programs on an annual basis. Please see our training calendar for specific dates.
