Indiana Law Enforcement Agencies
On June 21, 2004 the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board approved the formation of the Crime Scene Certification committee. This is the first Crime Scene Certification process approved and supported by the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board, and possibly the first approved by a governing law enforcement training body in the United States making Indiana a national leader in crime scene investigator training.
The certification process requires the renewal of certification every three years and mandates a minimum of 24 hours of crime scene related training during this time. As an approved Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board provider, Imprimus can help your officers meet these requirements.

Imprimus is an approved training provider for Indiana agencies. Our provider number is 5000-56.

Important Information About Refunds
Imprimus Forensic Services runs hands-on workshop programs where the number of attendees is purposely kept small. We believe that the small size of these workshops is important in allowing us to work closely with students and enhances their learning experience. Because of this, we rely on the count of persons registered in order to decide if a program will run and to accept or decline additional registrations.
All programs have a registration deadline that is printed on the registration form. Typically this is about two weeks before the program is scheduled to run. This registration deadline is also used as the last date for persons to cancel your registration and receive a full refund. All registrations not cancelled before the deadline date will be billed at the full workshop amount. To cancel and receive a full refund, please notify us in writing (via fax, email, or letter) prior to the deadline date. IFS will issue refunds in a timely manner.
For programs where the registration is handled through the College of Lake County or the Northeastern Illinois Public Safety Training Academy, please refer to the cancellation policies of those agencies.
